個 app 幾時會上網 When the app uses the network

Cantalkie 只會連去兩個地方，兩個都同你講咗啲乜無關：

Cantalkie connects to exactly two places, and neither has anything to do with what you said:

• updates.cantalkie.com —— 第一次下載語音模型、check 有冇更新、 攞詞彙包。嗰部伺服器（Cloudflare）會見到你嘅 IP 同一個叫「Cantalkie」嘅識別字串。 唔會傳授權碼、唔會傳機器編號、唔會傳使用次數。
• api.polar.sh —— 淨係喺你啟用或者核對授權嗰陣。 會傳你條授權碼，同埋一個用嚟認部機嘅名（即係你部 Mac 喺「系統設定」入面嘅名）。
• updates.cantalkie.com — the first-run model download, update checks, and vocabulary packs. That server (Cloudflare) sees your IP address and an identifier string, "Cantalkie". No licence key, no machine id, no usage counts are sent.
• api.polar.sh — only when you activate or re-check a licence. It sends your licence key and a label for the machine, which is your Mac's name as set in System Settings.

冇網絡都用得。下載咗個模型之後，日常輸入完全唔使上網。

It works offline. Once the model is downloaded, everyday dictation needs no connection at all.

留喺你部機嘅嘢 What stays on your Mac

• 你嘅錄音同轉出嚟嘅文字 —— 用完即棄，唔會上傳。
• 你自己加嘅詞庫、設定、授權狀態。
• 一個診斷紀錄檔，喺 ~/.cantalkie/app.log。 入面係時間、錯誤同狀態，唔會有你講嘅內容。你隨時可以自己刪。 佢淨係喺你主動㩒「寄出」嗰陣先會離開你部機（見下面「問題報告」）。
• Your audio and the text it becomes — used and discarded, never uploaded.
• Your vocabulary list, your settings, and your licence status.
• A diagnostic log at ~/.cantalkie/app.log, holding timings, errors and state — not what you said. Delete it whenever you like. It leaves your Mac only if you press send on a problem report (below).

如果個 App 撞到問題（引擎開唔到、模型載入唔到、或者死咗機），佢會問你 要唔要寄一份報告俾我哋。你亦可以隨時喺選單列揀「回報問題…」。 佢永遠唔會自己寄，而且寄之前會將成份報告完整咁俾你睇 —— 你睇得到嘅， 就係我哋收到嘅，冇多過嗰啲。

入面有：App 版本、macOS 版本、你部機嘅型號同記憶體、各個模型嘅狀態、 權限狀態，同埋兩個紀錄檔嘅最後 200 行（時間、錯誤、狀態）。 你講嘅內容唔喺入面 —— 除非你自己剔咗「連埋我最後一次講嘅結果一齊寄」 嗰格，佢預設係熄嘅。詞庫入面嘅字同你部機嘅使用者名稱會喺寄出之前遮走。 錄音永遠唔會寄。

報告會存喺 Cloudflare R2 一個非公開嘅儲存空間，90 日之後自動刪除， 淨係用嚟搵出同修正問題。收到嗰陣我哋會加多兩樣唔係由個 App 講嘅嘢：收件時間， 同埋 Cloudflare 由你個 IP 睇到嘅國家／地區（淨係國家，冇城市、冇 IP 本身， 而個 IP 我哋唔會存）。入面有一個隨機產生嘅安裝編號，令同一部機寄嘅報告可以一齊睇 —— 佢唔係由你部機或者你嘅身分推算出嚟，重裝一次就變成另一個陌生人。 想我哋即刻刪走你寄過嘅報告，email support@cantalkie.com 連個報告編號就得。

When something goes wrong — the engine will not start, a model will not load, or the app crashed — Cantalkie asks whether to send a report. You can also choose “Report a problem…” from the menu bar at any time. It never sends by itself, and it shows you the entire report before you decide: what you can read is exactly what we receive.

A report holds the app version, your macOS version, your Mac's model and memory, the state of each model, your permission states, and the last 200 lines of the two log files — timings, errors and state. What you dictated is not in it, unless you tick “include the last thing I dictated”, which starts unticked. Words from your vocabulary list and your Mac's user name are removed before sending. Audio is never sent.

Reports are stored in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket, deleted automatically after 90 days, and used only to find and fix faults. On arrival we add two things the app did not tell us: the time we received it, and the country Cloudflare reads from your IP address — country only, no city, not the address itself, which we do not store. Each carries a randomly generated install id so several reports from one machine can be read together — it is not derived from your machine or from you, and reinstalling makes you a new stranger. To have a report deleted sooner, email support@cantalkie.com with its reference.

付款由 Polar Software Inc. 處理，佢哋係我哋嘅授權經銷商 （merchant of record）。你張信用卡嘅資料交畀佢哋，我哋見唔到。 我哋喺佢哋個後台會見到你嘅電郵地址、國家／地區同訂單紀錄，用嚟發授權碼同處理客服。

Payments are handled by Polar Software Inc., who act as our reseller and merchant of record. Your card details go to them and we never see them. In their dashboard we can see your email address, your country, and your order — which is what we use to issue your key and answer support.

呢個網站 This website

• 寄存喺 Cloudflare。佢哋會處理基本嘅存取紀錄同防濫用。
• 字體由 Google Fonts 同 jsDelivr 載入，所以你個瀏覽器會向嗰兩個服務發出請求。
• 測試版報名表用 Google Forms。
• 冇 cookie 追蹤、冇廣告像素、冇第三方分析。
• Hosted on Cloudflare, who handle basic access logging and abuse prevention.
• Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and jsDelivr, so your browser makes requests to those two services.
• The beta signup form is a Google Form.
• No tracking cookies, no advertising pixels, no third-party analytics.

喺英國 GDPR 之下，你有權要求睇、更正或者刪除我哋手上關於你嘅個人資料。 電郵 hello@cantalkie.com，我哋一個月內回覆，通常快好多。 我哋淨係喺有需要嘅時間內保留訂單同授權紀錄，稅務同會計上要求嘅期限除外。

Under UK GDPR you may ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email hello@cantalkie.com; we reply within one month and usually far sooner. We keep order and licence records only as long as needed, except where tax and accounting law requires longer.
